Puri Saron Hotel

Was a very quick overnight stay but the accommodation was clean and spacious. There is a lovely pool area and the property is right on a black sandy beach. We had dinner in the hotel which was fine. It has an outside style shower which only seems to run cold despite having the option to add hot water. I didn’t really fancy climbing into the bath tub to use the alternative shower head.

Well worth the small price charge. Breakfast was simple but enough. Staff were adorable. Nice walk along the beach where there were plenty of locals, especially the children. They were awesome! I wish I had taken some treats for them. Room was old but bed and pillows were clean, shower was good. We had a room by the pool and it was soooo quiet. Bit of a walk into town but reception always phoned taxi for us and taxi arrived within five minutes. People are so friendly in Senggigi.

The room is very tatty The towels when I got some were stained and grey . Yes daily water but the fridge was not working properly The shower was a trickle an older style hotel that should be at best 2-3 star rating . Yes by the beach but not on it , you still have to walk to get to it The cleanliness left a lot to be desired overall Whilst I was there the grounds were taken over across three days by a graduation ceremony . Staged around the pool area the grounds were taken up by whole families there for the day . We were not informed about this until the day it begun and a sneaky paper on the bed The breakfast was very poor and the fruit had a strange taste . Look further for your hotel
