Logues Liscannor Hotel

Excellent apartment, very well appointed, equipped & located in the village of Liscannor, Co Clare. We had a great weekend staying here.

Tides is 3 apartments. Number 3 is the penthouse. We had a lovely stay here and couldn't complain. Would just recommend a few ideas, like a new mattress. Although we slept well enough you can feel the springs. Small touches like some milk in the fridge and re filling the tea/sugar caddys. The apartment is quiet big, decorated lovely with nice furniture and some quirky bits and bobs. Very spacious if you needed to cook. bright and airy also with plenty of windows. Very clean. We had a lovely stay and we would stay again if ever in Licannor.

Positives: Great location, spotlessly clean, good quality bed linen, kitchen has all the requisite items, bathroom is modern. Negatives: Very poor shower power No WIFI (was not advertised that there is no WIFI) Too much furniture (suggest removing the tub chairs) and furniture whilst in good condition is mostly (but not exclusively) dark and dated Too much bric a brac - the awful dried flowers in pewter holders, the spider poo stained non functioning lamp, a second non functioning lamp, the very very large lantern, the smaller lantern - all completely unnecessary and in the case of the lamps, unusable Why put net curtains on windows that are frosted - the apartment is already very dark and needs to be painted totally in white to maximise the light Vile green building colour - not at all in keeping with the surrounding buildings and area Poor quality bath towels that are too small - should be bath sheets Chandelier in the bedroom - it's a holiday apartment not a Victorian manor house
