We stayed for one night - a Saturday (July 11) -- in Room 309, which was assigned to us by the Front Desk Manager. The room has a spectacular view but unfortunately also overlooks the hotel's large patio, onto which a wedding party spilled out until 2am the next morning. Add to this a non-stop thumping bass beat from the band. Upon checkout the next morning, a most pleasant and sympathetic employee said: "This never should have happened. It is our policy to tell guests if an event is going to take place AND (my emphasis) make sure their room is on the other side of the hotel." Our traveling companions were located in such a room and heard nothing. When this employee asked who checked us in and it turned out to the the Front Desk Manager, she got that raised eyebrows, "Hmmm" look, asked for our contact information, and said the Manager would call us later that day. Never got that call. Very nice hotel. Very dumb room assignment.
