Love staying in this hotel- always a good experience. Really friendly, helpful staff and lovely food. Hadn't realised City Hall parking had changed so a big thank you to Salua who went out of her way to help me sort. Looking forward to my next stay.

Good, modern hotel in central Cork. Check in machines worked great. Parking is €12 and conveniently brings you right into the lobby. Beds comfy. Room was a perfect temperature despite warm weather. Gym was excellent. My only gripe would be the leisure changing area. I tried four showers. The first had no sushi l soap dispenser, the second had no soap, the fixtures were broken in the third and the door didn't close in the fourth.

I've stayed multiple times over the last year. On this occasion however I feel it may be my last. I have always booked a room with a balcony however I never have any furniture on the balcony. Thankfully the beds are comfortable. The shower wouldn't drain and the bathroom started to flood however the receptionist dealt with it quickly and within 10mins someone from maintenance came to fix the issue which we were grateful for. Breakfast was really good. There was alot of Gluten-Free Vegan options. The awful coffee literally leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Thankfully we were given fresh coffee from the machine. When you pay so much for the room a decent coffee at breakfast isn't too much to ask for. Also 2 sachets of coffee in the room. If you want decaffeinated they will give you 6 of them but not the normal one. I think they want you use their coffee dock which is open for a few hours a day and the coffee there isn't great either. On our final night we decided to eat in the bar. You have to scan the QR code to get allergen listings of the menu items. I was shocked to find no Gluten-Free options. I asked the server if any of the 2 vegan options could be made Gluten-Free free which they checked for me. 1 vegan main could be made Gluten-Free and 2 vegetarian starters. Obviously there was no real understanding of what vegan was. But after a long day I was just happy to be able to get something. Then my main arrived. It was minisual. It was 4 pieces of aubergine and lettuce and I was charged 20.00 for starter sized meal. I'm beginning to think they Clayton know the location is great of the hotel so they don't need to offer value for money.
