Cork Airport Hotel

My husband surprised me with a trip to celebrate my birthday, and we travelled to Cork where we stayed at your hotel. Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed—the hotel itself is beautiful, and our room was spacious and very comfortable. As part of our stay, we decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant that evening. I ordered the pork dish, while my husband, who is a very plain eater, opted for the burger and chips. Our meals were served together, but unfortunately, there were several issues that impacted our experience. My meal arrived cold and appeared to be hastily presented on the plate. In addition, when my husband requested ketchup, he was informed that there was none available in the hotel. Given that he prefers his food simple, having just a burger and bun with no sauce made the meal quite dry and unenjoyable. Having worked in the hospitality industry for years, I found this particularly disappointing. It would have been possible for someone from the hotel to quickly source some ketchup from a nearby shop this would have made a difference. I chose to send my meal back, hoping for a better experience. As I watched my husband finish his dinner, I sat waiting for mine to be corrected. When my meal was returned, it was properly prepared and tasted much better. However, by that point, my husband had finished eating, and I was left to dine alone. This made it difficult to enjoy my meal and diminished the special occasion. While the hotel environment and accommodation were excellent, our first experience with the dining service left much to be desired. The lack of attention to detail and inability to provide basic condiments was disappointing, especially considering how simple it would have been to fix. I hope this feedback will help improve future guest experiences.

Rooms are nice, but experience dampened by the price of drink in the bar, €7 a pint of Guinness, €9 for a Moretti, and the Guinness wasn't even good, below average pints, over priced, price gauging at its finest here, you wouldn't have those prices in Dublin and the pints would be 100 times better. Also very poor service.

Very accommodating Service. Food excellent. Staff very attentive Hotel lobby spacious and varied designed. There is much to discover. Interesting and beautiful but special toilet design on the ground floor. Restaurants very appealing designed and also the cocktails are very good. Very versatile breakfast buffet, rich offer. On weekends, dinner is accompanied by pleasant piano music. Only the low water pressure in the shower was a shortcoming. Otherwise everything is fine. Even very quiet night despite airport .
