I'm in two minds about this hotel. It is beautifully located for driving around the ring of Beara, or visiting the Blue Pool and Garnish Island (just short walk/boat trip respectively) across the road from the hotel itself, but it needs a refresh. Good parking behind the hotel, Our room, while comfortable, was dated. We had a disappointing meal in the McCarthey's Bar (part of the hotel, but next-door) although the drinks and service there were fine. Breakfast was continental and OK. Ann Marie, the lady who oversaw breakfast was lovely to talk with. Overall due to location (and Ann Marie) we would stay there again.
