Sheilas Tourist Hotel

This hostel is awful its like something out of the stone age. I stayed for three nights and then had to go elsewhere cos they were fully booked for the weekend and I had booked accommodation with Sheilas for the following week. They accepted my booking. On the morning of me checking out after the first three days they told me the had received complaints about me. ( I did absolutely wrong) if I had i would have been asked to leave. My "crime" was another guest staying there saw me and was embarrassed that I saw them staying in a hostel and approached management telling lies about me to get me out just cos they were embarrased that I knew they were staying in a hostel. (Me and the other guest are Irish). They then proceeded to cancel my following weeks booking claiming the are a tourist hostel and it's the summer season and not for the Irish. They thrive on filthyness and cutting corners cramming beds into rooms take money. It's a tourist trap to make quick easy money from people on the move some who don't even bother to complain cos they move on after a few days and probably never come back. All they care about is money in and out. Filthy beds getting filled in the summer season/tourist trap. They are a disgrace to there own people.

ok i went with my boyfriend here like we went there i am irish only for tralee i had my public services card because i didn't have a passport we weren't allowed stay which i think was over the top also they wouldn't give him back he's money which is wrong i think because we didn't stay there i understand there is rules but i am irish only coming from tralee i had my public services card and to still take someone's money after him not being able to stay there

​Do not stay here. This family business has zero empathy, zero professionalism, and absolutely no shame. ​A loyal, recurring guest who works exhausting 12-hour shifts and always paid his bills in full was kicked out while visibly sick. He was sweating heavily due to being unwell, and instead of showing a shred of basic human decency, they accused him of being "unhygienic" and refused to even give him a few minutes' grace to check out. Because they threw him out in that state, he literally passed out on his way home. ​To make matters worse, they have since fabricated completely false, defamatory claims about him to justify their actions. When called out on it, they began actively deleting and concealing negative reviews to hide the truth from the public. ​They are cowards who would rather manipulate their online rating than take accountability for neglecting a guest in a medical crisis. You cannot hide how you treat people. Future guests deserve to know that if you have a medical issue here, you won't be helped—you will be thrown out and lied about. Completely pathetic business model. Avoid at all costs.
