Fitzgeralds Vienna Woods Hotel

Really enjoyed our stay in Cork’s Vienna Woods, staff were very welcoming despite there being a large volume of guests arriving. There was a tour group & wedding there, but it did not take away from the experience. The bar was nicely tucked away from the reception but still close to everything. The breakfast was top class too!

Don’t book this if you are not travelling as part of a tour group arriving on a tour bus on mass….we booked for three nights. Wrong decision. Grp or tour bookings are definitely prioritised over individual guests. Staff doing breakfast are not always attentive, abrupt and frankly abrasive. No cutlery and salt and pepper on table…Rooms are comfortable. Dog friendly…..staff that stand out are Doona…she is amazing, honestly one of the best staff members…outstanding and so is Andrea one of the managers….don’t order the salmon or the Caesar salad….you get served an entire gem lettuce and it’s a like a treasure hunt for the other ingredients….stick to the pasta, it’s ok. The rooms are clean and clean…..book a tour and you will be ok….fly solo and it’s questionable

Great hotel in a quiet area just outside Cork. Friendly staff offering a excellent service. Good food for dinner and breakfast.
