CARLTON AIRPORT

WARNING: the airport shuttle is not guaranteed!! We booked it at 4 AM through the hotel website and, despite the confirmation, when we arrived the shuttle was already full! They left us outside (we are a family with 2 little kids of 2 and 5 yo) waiting for a taxi 20 minutes. No words. Be careful, you could easily lose your plane.

Stayed at the Carlton Dublin Airport for the second time. The shuttle bus service, car parking and check-in were all excellent, which made our arrival very smooth. Unfortunately, the rest of our stay was disappointing. It was my husband’s birthday, and I had requested a small surprise to be arranged in the room, but nothing was organised. I also mentioned in advance that our 6-year-old son would need a proper bed, yet no extra bed was provided. He ended up sleeping on the sofa, covered with a bathrobe instead of having suitable bedding. We also ordered breakfast to the room, but it arrived cold and was missing the sausages and butter, which we had to request separately. What disappointed me most was the inconsistency. Our previous stay was excellent, which is why we chose to return. This time, however, several requests were overlooked, and the overall experience fell well below our expectations. Consistency is essential in hospitality. Guests should be able to expect the same standard of service every time they stay. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.

Stayed one night for a morning Dublin flight. The room was clean and spacious. Good value for a triple. Had a free airport transfer in the morning. Would stay again.
