Days Hotel Dublin Airport

Be very aware if you are staying in the apartments or the hotel. The apartments do not have A/C and the portable units in the room were completely inefficient for the spaces - no where for the heat of the unit to be ventilated. This was annoying as the hallway had not one, but two mini splits and we tried to get the cool air to come in by leaving the apartment door open. *Went in August when it was 27 degrees Celsius (80 degrees Fahrenheit). We did not complain because we used it for one night before going to the airport.

Everything seemed nice until I pulled back the sheets, lifted the pillow, and discovered a bedbug. I packed up and left immediately for another hotel. My stuff was in the room for several hours, so I have to take care on arrival back home to make sure I didn’t get any bedbugs in my luggage.

This is such a fabulous hotel. I've stayed here twice now overnight ahead of a next day flight, and both times lovely room and staff. Can't fault it! Room is air conditioned and great tea and coffee offering in the room. The highlight for me is the shuttle bus service, it gets you from the airport to the hotel very quickly with very professional drivers. Tommy was my shuttle driver this visit and he was very good at his job and made the start of my stay perfect with an excellent lift to the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay the night before a next day flight.
