We had a downstairs room.Just after 7 am staff began to roll around barrels, thn banging on metal doors. This continued for a while. As soon as this stopped the throwing of empty boxes from a height, repeatedly landing just outside our window began, and continued. This continued for a long time. The rooms were also extremely, uncomfortably hot. There was over a week of warnings about this heatwave. I feel that the hotel should have invested in fans for the rooms. The rooms are not cheap,I feel this is the least they could have done. I went to reception at 9 to complain. It was empty and no staff to be seen. I went back at 9.45.The lady behind reception had really poor customer service skills. She said I should have come when the noise was happening and what did I want her to do about it! She would pass it on to the manager. I asked to speak to the manager. I was told there was none. I asked her to call the manager. She said she couldn't,there is no manager because it's the weekend....in a hotel!!! She then asked me 'why what could the manager do?'. I explained that that was the managers job to know, not mine. She said she would pass this on. I asked her to also pass on how utterly ridiculous I felt it is that there could be no manager present. At this point she raised her voice at me. I asked her to stop. She laughed and said she had not raised her voice. At this point I began to walk away. She smiled and said 'have a good day'. I felt that this was passive aggressive and I told her so. She said she was not being passive aggressive and really did wish me a good day. Do NOT stay in this 'hotel'. Hotels look after their patrons. Hotels have managers. Hotels solve problems, not cause them. Over 200 euro for the worst night's stay I have ever experienced anywhere in the world. I am.si disappointed. Picture below shows someone of the boxes that were launched from a height and landed outside our window.

We had a very pleasant stay at this place. The room was rather small but had a really nice charm and created a very cozy atmosphere. We noticed the cleanliness especially positive – everything was neat and well maintained. A big plus was the hotel's own parking lot, which is not publicly accessible. This gives you a safe feeling and is very practical especially when travelling. Breakfast was a bit unusual for us as there was no classic buffet. Instead, you could choose between two dishes from the menu (porridge or an Irish breakfast). In addition, some small things were available in buffet form. Overall an interesting and slightly different experience. All in all we felt comfortable and would recommend the place.

Staff are fantastic as are the rooms, location and facilities … cant recommend highly enough The rooms are large and clean As a Coeliac, the dining and kitchen staff ensured I had gluten free food and were aware of cross contamination concerns
