Ballynahinch Castle

this is an extraordinary place to stay. It is luxurious in every sense: the staff is outstanding, helpful, friendly and makes your stay a true sensation. The room was a dream, food was excellent. The whole surroundings are above all you could expect. Absolutely great place.

Disappointing service marred the experience

My main complaint is with the fishing experience. They are very happy to take $180.00 from you to go fishing on their private beat. They feel they have no obligations to disclose to you that there are no fish in the river. They are very happy to send you out to beat a dead river. No Not pay $180.00 until you check for yourself that there is actually a run or season going on at the time you are there. If you are there in-between runs save your money and time. I personally feel that it is despicable that they are so desperate for money that they will no tell you when the run is off and that there is little to no chance of you catching a fish.
