MALDRON HOTEL GALWAY

We’ve just come home today after a fantastic 5-night stay at the Maldron Hotel Oranmore with 4 adults and 3 children, and we honestly can’t recommend this hotel enough. From the minute we stepped through the door, we were made to feel so welcome. My three sons are autistic, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, understanding and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure the boys were comfortable and that their needs were catered for throughout our stay. They offered us a quiet side room just off the bar which we had to ourselves for dinner, cooked food that wasn’t even on the menu, and regularly checked in with us to make sure everything was okay. It was the little things, as well as the big things, that made such a difference to our family and allowed us to relax and enjoy our holiday. Every member of staff we encountered was absolutely amazing, across all areas of the hotel. A special mention also has to go to the kids club, which one of my sons attended and absolutely loved! The pool was another huge hit and was used multiple times every day. There was something for everyone, and we genuinely felt so well looked after from start to finish. A massive thank you to all the wonderful staff at the Maldron Hotel Oranmore for making our stay so enjoyable and, most importantly, making our boys feel so welcome and comfortable. We’ll definitely be back! ❤️

A fantastic stay from start to finish firstly checking in with Malia (i hope i have gotten your name right) who checked us in and was incredibly helpful and welcoming.... The room was clean spacious which is what we found throughout the hotel.... The breakfast was one of the nicest i have had in any hotel.... As it was a bank holiday the hotel was extremely busy but service was fast and effective and our room was quiet even tho it was at front of hotel (Room 104)... Fantastic children's facilities and pool/gym were excellent also will definitely be back

Check in was nice and easy , Hotel clean . Staff very friendly . Food in bar for diner was really lovely. Breakfast was just okay. Rooms need updating bathroom very dated . No air con in room and beds not the best pillows are really bad. Games room is good for the kids . Kids club could be better also. Location is good 20 minute drive from galway city . Shops and restaurants in oranmore are 10 to 15 minute walk from hotel which is great . Kids loved the pool Gym was good Not much atmosphere in hotel though could do with live music ect.
