Lissyclearig Thatch Cottage

Miserable host. Poor facilities actively made to feel unwelcome.

Lissyclearig Thatched Cottage is a beautiful and welcoming place to stay in Kenmare. Carmel and her family were lovely hosts and made me feel right at home. The breakfasts were delicious and the room was very comfortable. I was so impressed that they had built this cottage themselves and put such care and whimsy into the details of the decor. I would highly recommend staying here!

Unique cottage, lovingly designed and furnished: Rustic wooden furniture, flowers in front of the windows, miniature stone houses in the garden. We were welcomed with tea and biscuits, great selection of tea for home cooking. By car you are in a few minutes in Kenmare with nice restaurants and shops. We stayed here for the second time and want to come back.
