Holiday Inn Killarney

Very good facilities. The price was very good, too good for the service that we received. I would however suggest on installing bar fridges in the rooms for refreshments. The weather was a little bit hot and we could have benefited from cold water in the room. Overall, we were impressed by the whole experience and we would use the hotel again without hesitation.

Very happy with my stay. The Delux Super King room was modern, tastefully appointed, clean and very comfortable. I arrived before the 3pm check-in time and reception went above and beyond to get the room ready which was much appreciated. The hotel is 15 minutes walk to Killarney town and maybe 20 minutes to the National Park 🏞️ so really well located. I walked lots and left the car in the complementary car park. I used the pool which is small but clean and would be ideal for kids but it worked for me too. The jacuzzi was bliss after all my walking. The steam room was perfect and I noticed a sauna but didn’t try it. After all that activity I was hungry and had a great burger in the bar and a glass of Guinness to wash it down. The staff were great and I enjoyed my food and drinks. The bed was very comfy and had a great nights sleep. Check was friendly and efficient in the morning. All in all I would highly recommend the Parkavon as a good value short stay location in Killarney.

My 3 night stay couldn’t have been more amazing pleasant and comfortable with such great value. Arriving before noon, attended to immediately with efficiency and care, we had our room early. The refurbished rooms were done well. And the pool/spa area! What a bonus- super clean and after a week plus of travels, the jets were fantastic, steam, sauna and pool perfect. The front staff: wow, bend over backwards to guests with care, accuracy, communication and efficiency. Left my jacket after arriving at train station to leave and the response, coordination, and quick acting had it there bfr train departure. The desk staff even called train station to relay message to me and found me!! Wow. Highly recommend this hotel- even if slightly walking from main area on tired feet. The solace was worth it.
