Butler Arms Hotel

This hotel has super old-fashioned charm. My room was HUGE- a veritable suite, with living area and an equally enormous bathroom and a view facing the ocean. Nice amenities. The staff was excellent, services all great. After walking 15 K or so doing the ring of Kerry, over a truly stunning mountain top, it was spectacular to arrive at such nice lodgings. The ocean was a perfect spot to dip into on such a warm day. But the most amazing thing of all was the manager who - after hearing that my friend and I were a bit stranded to get a cab somewhere - offered to take us himself! Hospitality like none other. He took a couple of hours out of his day and made this one of the most memorable parts of our journey. Thank you all!

We spent two nights in this hotel. The staff is friendly. The correct room without more. Only downside, the room not made...We had paid to have the view su4 thank you, we had a room mostly wall view because on the ground floor... Meals and breakfast very good.

superbly located by the sea, welcomed Charlie Chaplin on vacation.... but has aged far too badly since. Service is smiley and efficient but the decor is to be reviewed, the carpet worn, the curtains tired.... in short all this needs a big young shot because the place could be top.... unfortunately only the rates remained standing. They are however dog friendly, extremely rare in Ireland and therefore to be highlighted for the effort
