We were very impressed with The Dunraven Arms Hotel in Adare, Co. Limerick in Ireland. lt had a lovely, peaceful atmosphere with a gorgeous garden & the rooms were clean & comfortable. It was a great location. We were close to The Maigue River Walk which was spectacular, the Adare Garden Park & to town. We ate at The Bar Cafe every evening & the food was excellent. They were very attentive to my needs being vegan, gluten free & healthy. My husband enjoyed his food too. Much appreciated! Anne & Chuck Binder, California, USA.

Upon our first ever visit to Adare, we arrived at the Dunraven Arms and were immediately charmed by the calm, lovely space as well as Rachel at reception who is the epitome of class. Quickly checking us in, she assigned Jamie to assist us with our bags and to take us to our room for our one night stay. It was all handled with grace and professionalism as befitting the elegant hotel. After exploring Adare for the afternoon, we chose to dine at the hotel in the more casual Hunter's Bar. However, the newly opened Conservatory space next to the Hunter's Bar afforded us ability to order off the bar's menu while enjoying the sunshine (and no TVs) in the bright Conservatory space. We had multiple servers who all handled our delicious dinner well. After a very restful night in our Garden View room, the included breakfast was excellent; among the very best of our Ireland fortnight. Our server at breakfast was Rarash who was both attentive, but not intrusive, allowing us space, but always there when we needed something. All in all, a tremendous visit!

This is a very good Irish hotel. We stayed as a couple recently for a night and had a very good experience. The staff are friendly and attentive, the room was comfortable, the facilities (especially if you get good weather) are very good. The only slight issue I have with the hotel is the way breakfast is managed. The room is just too small for multiple guests having a buffet breakfast. Also, given its a mixture of a hot & cold buffet with also some ordering from a menu (which we were not provided with!), the breakfast is complicated. Guests are wating on some hot food (bacon, eggs, pancakes etc) and then have to go to the buffet for the remainder (sausage, pudding etc). It was a little chaotic. That said, the quality of the food is very good. I'd also suggest that given the hotel has one of the best outdoor areas for sitting and enjoying a drink, they should make more use of it. The pubs in Adare are not really that great (dark and dingy) so the hotel could create a fairly unique atmosphere in spring / summer by utilising the outdoors better. However, all said, I would very much recommend this hotel.
