My family and I stayed for a weekend at this hotel and we had a really great time. Well-kept hotel and very kind staff. It was a pleasant experience and we will definitely return with pleasure.

Beautiful experience and the staff is up to every eventuality and they know how to do their job seriously and it must always be like this and I will return with great pleasure and satisfaction and its restaurant also deserves it.

We stayed in the annex (or cottage, as they call it). It's a shame that a fundamental thing is not specified on the hotel's page: the train passes practically inside the accommodation. The railway boundary wall is literally attached to the wall of the annex (and 5 meters from the rest of the hotel), making it impossible to sleep. During the night, not only is the noise of the continuous trains nothing short of frightening, but being so close, the walls and the loft (where the bedroom is) vibrate, making the stay a nightmare experience for the whole family (I recommend a sleepless small child). When we complained after the first night, we were told that no one had ever complained... too bad we discovered later that many people here on TripAdvisor complained about the same problem (and you can hear it even less from the hotel than from the annex!)... and that what we paid could not be refunded and that at most they could discount our car parking. Too bad I had already parked the car for free outside the hotel and that it wasn't a money issue anyway, but one of sleep and relaxation, since we were on vacation! Too bad, because the hotel is nice otherwise, even if breakfast, which is not 4-star quality, is already gone by 9:00 AM and is often not restocked. If you don't take strong sleeping pills, don't go there!
