Victoria Hotel

There is one word to describe this hotel. Exceptional in every way. Its location is perfect, just around the corner from the main pedestrian shopping street Corso Umberto and right in the middle between the beach and the central station with a merely six minute walk to both. We used Pescara as a base to travel by train to Loreto, Scanno and Lanciano and thus the location of the hotel is so convenient and we did not need to use taxis. Upon arrival just after midnight, we were warmly greeted by Fabio who made us feel at home immediately. The room was spotless and the sheets, pillows, towels and quilt were of a high quality. We liked the fact that we could control the temperature of the AC. The balcony was more like a terrace as it was so spacious. The bathroom with its modern hydro massage shower was a pleasant surprise. The next morning we woke up to a sumptuous breakfast which matched or even surpassed that of five-star chain hotels. The customised cooked eggs , the fresh orange juice and the coffee (cappuccino, latte , espresso etc ) and various teas which were brought to our table complemented the cold buffet. Nothing was lacking. Besides the normal fare of yoghurts and fruit, breads, charcuterie, etc there were also pain brioche sandwiches, tuna rolls and savoury croissants, all with delicious fillings. For those with allergies and intolerances, there was a corner with various options. The sweets/pastry table was simply awesome with typical sweets of the region and many others. Having said all the above, the real highlight however, was the staff. All those at the front desk, breakfast room and bar were super friendly, helpful and so professional. All of them were always with a smile and genuinely tried to see that we lacked nothing without intruding. During breakfast, we were even offered to take away nicely packed food, pastries, fruit and bottles of water. So a big big THANK YOU to Giuseppe, Fabio and Alice at the front desk ( all multilingual), Mauro, Mario, Robert and Fred in the breakfast room/bar as well to the hotel porter Maurizio who always offered a helping hand. Top notch from start to finish. 10/10 for excellent customer service in every way.

I stayed at the Hotel Victoria for a weekend. It is located in a central position near the sea and the train station. Splendid welcome and kindness from all the staff, at the reception as well as the bartender, the waiters in the breakfast room, and the manager. Excellent breakfast with hot drinks prepared on the spot and a great variety of products. Available to store our bicycles. The welcome aperitif with the bartender's recommendations was very welcome and excellent.
