Excelsior

Clean rooms, kind staff…internal services (whirlpool pool) very convenient.

We stayed at the Hotel Excelsior in Vasto in the aparthotel formula and we were truly satisfied. A strong point is definitely the cuisine: we ate very well, with tasty and well-prepared dishes. A special mention goes to the attention dedicated to gluten-free, an aspect that is very important to us. At breakfast, there is the possibility of finding gluten-free croissants, oven-warmed rolls, and muffins, and above all, it is possible to choose from the various options on the menu, without feeling limited in the choice. Among the dishes we appreciated the most was the fried fish, truly excellent, accompanied by fried zucchini and carrots, all strictly gluten-free. An attention to detail that we particularly appreciated. A big thank you also goes to the dining room staff: Jasmine, Potito, Lorenzo, and Gino, always kind, helpful, and attentive to meeting our every need. A special mention to Jasmine, who stood out for her helpfulness, professionalism, and attentiveness: she made us feel truly pampered throughout our stay. The hot tub is also very nice, a true moment of relaxation! To reach the sea, you have to cross an underpass and then a reed bed, but the path turns into a pleasant walk, so for us, it was absolutely not a problem. The free bicycle service is also very convenient, which allows you to get around and enjoy the surroundings. One small precaution: we recommend avoiding the bike path in the evening, because some sections are poorly lit. Overall, it was a very positive experience. Excellent cuisine, great attention to gluten-free, helpful and kind staff, and many small services that make the stay pleasant. We felt welcomed and will certainly take with us a fond memory of this vacation! ❤️

Decent structure; with some adjustments, it could improve. Unfortunately, the loud noise from the highway prevented us from enjoying the sea-view terrace for which we chose that room, and it disturbed our sleep. Cleaning was superficial and not thorough. Bathroom without a window. Kitchen utensils are VERY IMPROVABLE 😩😩; the presence of a dishwasher and washing machine is useful. The pool is very nice, and the staff is very friendly.
