Hotel Crampon

Being just passing through, I stayed with my husband for only one night. We had booked a superior double room with a balcony (indispensable for me in the mountains). The room was not overly large but of normal size, with a small balcony overlooking the internal garden/mountain equipped with a small table, 2 chairs, and a convenient railing-mounted drying rack. Large bathroom with shower. Very comfortable bed and pillows. What struck me most was the cleanliness of the room and the scent of the sheets. Never in so many years of traveling have I happened to find such a clean and fragrant bed! Very kind staff at the welcome desk and at the evening reception, available until one in the morning. Breakfast with both sweet and savory options, including homemade cakes and croissants. Cappuccinos and coffee made to order at the bar, not from machines. The bar is open until 10:00 PM. There is also a large garden equipped with small tables, chairs, and lounge chairs that, unfortunately, we did not have time to use. A very important thing is that the hotel is truly just a stone's throw on foot from the center, so super convenient. If we ever return to the area, we will definitely stay at Hotel Crampon again. Compliments to the entire staff! Definitely recommended!

We were guests at this hotel for a weekend. The location is excellent, both for reaching the center of Courmayeur and for moving outward. The hotel has parking, free for guests and quite spacious. The establishment is family-run and the decor is typically Alpine: right from the start, one can perceive a warm and positive atmosphere. The staff is very welcoming and kind: we were provided with all the necessary information for our stay and the lady at the reception gave us valuable advice on where to have lunch/dinner. The room, not particularly large but with a nice balcony with a view, was equipped with everything necessary and very clean. The breakfast offered a good selection of sweet and savory items, yogurt, and cereals. A special mention for the jam-filled croissants: fabulous! To summarize, we found courtesy, cleanliness, and quality (in good relation to the price). We will return.

Hotel Crampon is a great property on the edge of the pedestrian area of Courmayeur. Managers and waiting staff very kind and caring, great and plentiful breakfast (hot drink included without surcharge and no capsule machines) served in a beautiful and large room. All fresh and high quality products (vd. Yoghurt by Panizzi). The rooms are spacious, spotless and equipped with every comfort. The shuttle service to the Dolonne lifts is a priceless plus. Stra recommended!!! They are really good 👏🏻
