Chalet du Lys

I stayed at this hotel for three nights with my partner, but I felt sick from the first day (for reasons independent of the property) and we had to leave a day early, giving up one night, two dinners, and two breakfasts already booked. What disappointed me was not the property, but the subsequent management: a few days later I received the automatic "we already miss you" email, which in that context seemed out of place. I wrote privately to the property, before this review, asking not for a refund, but at least for a personal gesture or a small discount on what was not enjoyed. I was told curtly that the nights are non-refundable and that due to an anti-waste policy, no vouchers or discounts were provided. I understand the rules, but a little more empathy would have made a difference — and this review comes only after giving the hotel the chance to make amends. I will hardly return.

Terrible experience. Unspeakable dinner. 4-star hotel that is absolutely not worth it. Very neglected exterior. Unprepared staff. Spa not worthy of a 4-star hotel. Avoid.

The premium room was beautiful. Spacious, beautiful terrace with a view of Gressoney. In Milan it was 39 degrees and here 22... what a delight. And then... the food is excellent, the Jacuzzi in the garden is nice, and the space for the dogs to play... it's the only hotel in the area that accepts dogs... and they live like kings!!!
