B&B Il Centro Storico

Brilliant, The room was cleaned daily and was comfortable. The couple that run the B&B are so friendly and although they did not speak English and I only know a few Italian words with google translate we had some really nice conversations. Gallipoli although small is a beautiful walled island with so much history and things to see, there is a bridge to the island. It was nice to walk through the narrow lanes and if you don't fancy walking a little Vespa 3 wheeler will drive you round. There is one beach was was never too crowded, there are some fishing ports and fish was the main thing to eat. It was our first time to Italy and we loved it there.

Disappointing experience from every point of view We were deeply disappointed from this living room. In addition to the fact that the prices are disproportionate, the description of the accommodation was misleading from the beginning: we were assured that there would be two bathrooms, but we found only one, definitely insufficient for a group of seven people. The so-called “breakfast included” is a tease: a saucer with two toasts counted and little more. On top of that, on the first day we found mold inside a jam: unacceptable by any hygiene standards. The photos of the room were clearly retouched: the space seemed large and cozy, while in reality we could not even move comfortably in seven. But the icing on the cake was the staff: rude, grumpy and totally unprofessional. Any attempt at communication was rudely rejected. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to avoid a bad experience. We will never go back.

bad staff bad conditioner broken the second bathroom there was no such thing as breakfast they gave was paltry just rusks and jam that was open with mold hot water does not exist a scam of money and time!!!!!
