Fantastic location and excellent food, a beautiful family vacation! We stayed for a week at the Caroli Hotel Le Sirene, two adults and two children. The property enjoys an extraordinary location: immersed in the splendid pine forest and with the beach practically at "zero meters," very convenient for those traveling with children. A great strong point was the dining: breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets were always very rich and of excellent quality, with lots of variety every day. A round of applause also for the cleaning service, truly impeccable and attentive in the daily care of the room. The only note to improve, in our opinion, concerns the entertainment, which turned out to be practically nonexistent during the week. Despite this aspect, the quality-price ratio remains impeccable. Overall it was an excellent experience that we highly recommend!

This was a vacation to forget. The Hotel Caroli Le Sirenè looks nice in photos, but the reality consists of abandoned spaces, dangerous food, a lack of hygiene, and management that leaves you stunned. 🌊The sea is splendid and the beach is included in the price, less than 50 meters from the hotel. This is the only real plus point. However, the enjoyment is severely limited: - Umbrellas: They are positioned starting from the second row, but in practice it is as if they were in the third, because even the second row is always and in any case booked. It is not clear how it is possible to book them, but the fact is that you never find a spot. The umbrellas are all stuck together and planted very low. I am 1.55 cm tall and I was constantly hitting my head. - 🏊 The pool is clean and large. In the afternoon there are people, but in the morning it is totally unusable: there are no umbrellas and, with the sun beating down, you get burned staying at the poolside. The main problem remains, however, the total absence of entertainment and organized life. The place at first glance seems beautiful, with a thousand spaces, but looking closer you discover that it is all totally abandoned: * Miniclub area: Unused. * Theaters: Abandoned. * Poolside screen: Never turned on. * Playgrounds in the pine forest: They give you the creeps, abandoned to chance (a worrying factor considering the recent attack by a lone wolf in the area). * Nonexistent programming: At the entrance they leave a board with the 2023 activities full of interesting things. In reality, none of this is done. Explaining to a 6-year-old child that everything he reads does not exist was truly complex and frustrating. * Kids' club: A joke. The girl who runs it, although nice, cannot do anything: she provides Legos and markers under a gazebo, and only in the morning. The evening is dead for both adults and children. * Basic services: Even asking for a deck of cards turns out to be very complicated. They struggle to provide it to you because they are afraid of "messing up" new decks. Are you kidding me? - The rooms are very small and show a really low level of maintenance and cleanliness: * Bunk bed: It was not at all safe for my 6-year-old son. We had to install a safety rail ourselves that was sitting on top of the closet, all dusty. Unacceptable. * Shower and Bathroom: The shower is tiny. The bathrooms are old and dilapidated, with faucets full of limescale buildup. * Balcony: Tiny and very dirty. There is nothing to hang wet towels and swimsuits on. * Cleaning: Really skimpy, they limit themselves to the essentials. - 🍽️ The food is totally nauseating. The quality is terrible and the storage is shameful. * Breakfast: The raw vegetables are already rancid. The tomatoes smell extremely acidic just by walking past them. They are not changed, but mixed in with the fresher ones, and this continues until dinner. The fruit meets the same fate. The ice creams are put in the buffet and after a few seconds they melt… truly disgusting! * Lack of alternatives: There is almost never a plain option! If you don't eat tomato, you're screwed and condemned to a couple of strands of overcooked pasta to season yourself. * Recycled fish: They recycle fish as if it were plastic bottles! Outrageous: they served one cuttlefish for 4 days. By the second day, it already smelled like rotten fish. On the third day, they threw it into the sauce to cover its taste, smell, and appearance… it had turned green! It's madness! * Flavors: In addition to the hygiene standards and the pitiful storage, the flavors were truly terrible. Truly disgusting! - 👥 The staff is divided between know-it-alls and super kind kids, but there are many sore points. * The Manager or whatever he was: A rude person of cosmic proportions. He treats the staff like dirt in front of the hotel guests, denying them breaks and insulting them. He is the same one who mocked a group of nuns on vacation there, laughing behind their backs and filming them with his cell phone. * Dining room staff: They are kind, but you can tell they are beginners. They use their phones constantly while wearing gloves, gloves that they then use to handle food. * Reception: There is immense rudeness, people who wouldn't give you a smile even by mistake. The only exception: the girl with glasses and blonde hair. She was always exceptional and kind. * Guest management: The rudeness of the hotel guests is never, and I mean never, addressed. Outrageous: every morning lines would form because people had to make bread and omelets to take to the beach, without anyone saying anything to them. But then drinking a coffee outside the breakfast area was challenged! Are you kidding me? - 💰 Bar and Shuttle prices: a rip-off * Bar: A coffee with pods costs €2.50! A spritz of an unknown brand for 10 euros, without even two peanuts! * Shuttle to Gallipoli: The prices really make you think. 10 euros per person each way!! A family of 4 people spends 80 euros to go and return to travel 10 minutes of road. - Conclusion: A vacation truly to forget. Between dangerous food, abandoned spaces, lack of security in the rooms, rude staff, and rip-off extra prices, the Hotel Caroli Le Sirenè is not recommendable to anyone.

We go to the room and I must say that we were disappointed because the room is definitely cramped, small, lacking a closet, and the minibar is completely empty. Every 50cl bottle of water cost 2 euros!!! Moving on to breakfast, it is disappointing: you cannot serve breakfast from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM in a pine forest. Afterward, everything is taken away!!! Vacation hours must be more convenient for tourists!!! You cannot not serve fresh seasonal fruit and you cannot ask for an extra charge for fresh-squeezed orange juice!!! The plain croissants are also really pathetic!!! They claim to have a hair salon on-site, and then the service was unavailable!!! Unaccommodating and definitely impolite staff. Place and services are extremely expensive in relation to what is actually provided and reserved! Property needs to be reviewed and management needs to be improved.
