Istituto Antonacci

Simple, clean rooms. Spacious, with air con. Good location walking distance to bus station and the old centre, in a very quiet area. Friendly guy at reception who was very helpful. Only thing is that WiFi only works in common room downstairs. Lecce is a beautiful city and this is the perfect no frills and economical place to base yourself.

This B&B is located in the old part of Lecce in part of a 19th century building that also houses or housed a school for the blind. The rooms were huge, immaculately clean and simply furnished. We arrived in the evening and the gentleman that checked us in was very helpful in giving us information about nearby laundromats and a deli - even though our Italian was very limited and his English only slightly better. All of the staff we encountered was very pleasant. The breakfast was very satisfying. This B&B is a great value.
