We stayed at this B&B as the third stop on the Salento path, and what can I say? Fabulous! The owners are very kind and super welcoming; it felt like being at home, pampered and spoiled. The room and bathroom were spotless, truly impeccable, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary blankets and extra pillows. The bathroom was equipped with everything necessary. A small terrace with a table and chairs and the essentials for hanging laundry. Excellent breakfast with a variety of treats: cream-filled brioche (with the option to choose the day before between plain, cream, cream and chocolate, Nutella, and jam), pasticciotti, maritozzo with cream, fruit, bread, and the option for savory items (cold cuts and cheeses), yogurt, fruit juices, fresh orange juice, in addition to a basket full of various cookies and toast with jam, Nutella, and honey! Great location just two minutes from Castro's historic center and a short distance (20 minutes on foot) from Castro port. Additionally, there is a coin-operated laundry in front of the B&B and a supermarket 100 meters away. I highly recommend it… congratulations!

We stayed at B&B La Rosa Antica in Castro and the experience was really pleasant. The property is located in a strategic position: very close to the historic center and a few minutes from the sea of Castro Marina, one of the most beautiful villages in Salento The rooms are clean, spacious and lovingly decorated. Cleanliness is impeccable and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed the tranquility of the place, ideal for those seeking relaxation away from the chaos. Breakfast is a strong point: abundant, with fresh and typical local products, homemade desserts, seasonal fruit and great coffee. The owners, Mrs. Maria and Mr. Luigi, they are very kind and always available, they made us feel at home from the first moment. The Mr. Place in the morning is, even went to the neighboring country to take for breakfast the taryellette all cream of lemon and Nutella. Super. Highly recommended we will definitely be back Moreover, the value for money is excellent: the property offers comfort and authentic hospitality at very competitive prices for the area.
