Agri Hotel Conte Salentino

The property is very beautiful on the outside and would have great potential, but the management is unfortunately not up to the level of the property itself or the price paid. The room turned out to be rather dated and poorly maintained: uncomfortable bed, rusty radiators with towels resting on them, obsolete shower, and faucets covered in limescale. Breakfast is limited to products of modest quality (yogurt, cold cuts, and other budget-tier foods) and the presence of numerous bees and other insects makes eating the meal unpleasant. We felt constantly watched and monitored and only discovered at the time of check-out that, if you take away even a simple breakfast item, since take-away is not allowed, it is charged with a significant surcharge. We would have preferred that this rule had been communicated to us clearly and immediately on the first day rather than finding it on the final bill after several days, which denotes a lack of transparency.

Availability and courtesy. We were accommodated for our every single need.

We stayed here for our vacation. The rooms were a bit dated, but everything necessary was there. Impeccable cleanliness. The pool is always clean and has saltwater (no chlorine); the nice thing is that you can also swim after dinner. There is also a small playground. The staff is very kind, especially a huge thank you and shout-out to Giovanni, who was more than helpful when we had a problem. The hotel is located about 4 km from Sant’Isidoro, the closest point for grocery shopping or going to a beach with facilities. If it were possible to have dinner at the property, even super simple dishes, it would be even more convenient! In any case, we had a good time, and it is an excellent property for vacations in Salento!
