B&B Il Monastero

We stayed in Appartamento il Monastero for 2 nights in October. The location is very good in Trani, easy access to the beach, clean good room, some good restaurants nearby. But we especially loved the master Lino! His "welcome drink" was very stunning! :)) He gave to drink a wine, fed a do vine cheeses and other food and we chatted friendly and pleasantly, even though we don't know Italian language . All other staff were also very friendly. Dear Lino, you took our hearts and we will be back definitely!

We stayed 1 night with Nino in September 2014 - we were on our way back to Bari and I have to say that we were lucky to come across it! He is a fantastic host, very warm and welcoming and my 3 year old daughter still mentions his lovely daughter Svenja. Our room was huge, extremely clean and the building is just beautiful. Conveniently located to the main part of Lecce, which is a really nice place. Nino recommended a really super restaurant which was so reasonable and the food local and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Il Monastero and we would definitely recommend a stay there. We hope to be back someday. Grazie Mille Nino!

We stayed at Il Monastero earlier this year and couldn't have asked for a nicer or more accommodating host - nothing was too much trouble - Mino really went out of his way to make sure our stay in Lecce was the best experience possible. Anything from personally helping us find a beautiful church for us to sing in, to locating a really gorgeous beach.....he even came to pick us up from the station! The house as you can see from the pictures is a comfortable mix of chic and stylish with no pretentiousness. Plenty of space to sit and relax both inside and out! I thoroughly recommend this as a great place to base yourself if you are planning on exploring beautiful Lecce!
