La Sommita Relais

One of our favourite hotels in Puglia and somewhere we happily return to again and again. La Sommità sits right at the top of Ostuni’s historic centre, with beautiful views, stylish white stone interiors and plenty of bars and restaurants just a few minutes away. The rooms are beautiful, even at entry level, and always spotlessly clean. The evening turndown service is a particularly nice touch. We love using it as a relaxing city break after a few days on the coast. The small plunge pool is perfect for cooling off and sunbathing before heading out in the evening. The staff are a huge part of why we come back. They remember you, are incredibly friendly and always add thoughtful touches. Their tuk-tuk transfers to and from the station are also brilliant and make arriving in Ostuni feel like part of the holiday. Breakfast is excellent, with great coffee and hot dishes made to order, while lunch is also worth staying in for. The Caesar salad is a favourite. Beautiful setting, excellent service and full of character. The photos really don’t do it justice.

We just enjoyed a wonderful 3 night stay at this beautiful hotel. We loved the location at the top of the hill with a magnificent view and spectacular sunset. The room was spacious and clean - the staff were so helpful and friendly. The short 7 minute walk into the main square was so easy with a cool beanbag bar en route. This hotel was peaceful and quiet (with a perfect music playlist throughout) - I would highly recommend this accomodation.

The hotel is located in a wonderful place, on the top of Ostuni, near the Cathedral, in the middle of the medieval fortress. The view from there is super nice. The services are great and the staff is very friendly and helpful ! Great place for visiting Ostuni and the North of Puglia !
