Fantastic stay! The staff at the Monteforte were so welcoming and provided us with a lovely experience. The rooms are beautiful and very well appointed - they exceeded our expectations and are very spacious. The breakfast was wonderful and included fruits and pastries. We came for a wedding and Pietro helped make the event so special by assisting with so many last minute details. We are grateful and loved the hospitality of the people of Ugento! Grazie mille 🙏❤️

We were forced to end up in this hotel, after a booking went wrong elsewhere. What a huge hospitality we encountered there, Fernando, our host of the time, arranged everything for us, nothing was too crazy. It was still early in the season, so every hotel was still starting up, including Monteforte, but we didn't notice. Advantage was that Fernando had all the time for us and came up with very valuable tips to visit nearby. And he was right, for which we thanked him enormously. With friends we have just returned from a wonderful holiday spent at the Monteforte Resort in Salento and we can say that it was an unforgettable stay! The resort is run by Andrea, a really welcoming person and attentive to all details towards guests. In the morning, the breakfast is fantastic, with pies and tarts still warm, from sweet to savory, all made by the pastry chef of the restaurant and served by Martina and Pietro. The resort offers the opportunity to dine on the terrace at the Duca restaurant, creating a truly unique atmosphere, with very fine cuisine and a top wine list, served by Sonia, an excellent sommelier. The rooms are large and spacious, with excellent cleaning, managed by Laura's sweetness. All the staff is very professional and these days Andrea has made us this wonderful holiday, recommending every day wonderful places to discover. I highly recommend the Monteforte Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and quality stay in the heart of Salento!
