Nicotel Gargano Hotel

Had trouble finding the hotel, you need to come off from Foggia and not any other route. Too far from Manfredonia, too busy to give you any information, might be because it's a Sunday and there had been a wedding the night before...asked about an evening meal and got told we didn't book one it''s a hotel, they are supposed to be able to offer their guests meals if that's what they say in their advertisement. Rooms are large and airy so are the bathrooms Great showers though air con and small fridge don't work Bar staff are a bit to be desired could do with a lesson in people skills mind you so could the manager. Only nice staff we've come across are the cleaners The hotel seems to be one big mad house....shame really because we was really looking forward to our overnight stay whilst travelling from turkey back to the uk

Stayed here for one night mid September. No character to the place at all - big convention for Judo on at the time we stayed (no one mentioned that when we booked! - place was heaving!! Asked about booking a table for dinner but told that there was only a set menu and they were full but could squeeze us in at a table somewhere if we wanted. Had a look at the menu and decided to go to the local pizzeria instead! Really badly maintained hotel which was a shame as it had huge potential. Gardens very neglected even though pool was still in use. Bed was really hard - I like a firm mattress but I think a park bench would have been more comfortable!! Previously stayed at Regio Manfredonia where we got superb service and great room - won't be swayed by price next time - you get what you pay for!!

Initially seemed like a good deal until you find yourself in a grubby industrial zone. One or two staff were nice but the rest should look for another career choice. I felt invisible at best. What bar service ZERO bar absolutely no character. Felt unwanted after a short conversation with staff member expecting to be involved with tHe karaoke but instead after a SHORT conversation he said goodnight and turned his back on me and walked away. Had my staff treated a customer like that he would be instantly dismissed. PS what's the deal with all the police are they getting better deals and service than the clients.
