La Punta

Absurd and terrible experience.

We discovered this property by chance, which is located on the opposite side of Otranto compared to the other times we always booked in Otranto, practically on the extreme tip of the town. Small property but with everything necessary. Very close to the center of Otranto, about 300 meters from the Madonna dell'Alto Mare church, but just as convenient for quickly reaching the famous beaches of Otranto by car, such as Baia dei Turchi, Laghi Alimini, and others. The property offers a series of parking options, from the blue paid parking spaces to the unguarded internal parking, etc. The breakfast we had at the property, booked the day before, was truly abundant with classic Lecce pastries, creams, and fresh fruit like melon, figs, etc. Mrs. Francesca, the manager/owner of the property, made us feel truly at home, and we thank her for this. One drawback is having to pay for breakfast and the tourist tax in cash and not with cards; it's a shame, but for everything else, it was truly worth it. Furthermore, the property has at least two equipped beach clubs in the immediate vicinity, just a few meters away. Truly beyond our expectations, and we will definitely return.

We stayed at the hotel La Punta and were fully satisfied. The property is located a stone's throw from the sea, in a quiet area that guarantees relaxation, but at the same time is conveniently close to the center, within walking distance in a few minutes. The hotel is equipped with every comfort, attention to detail and very welcoming. Special thanks to Carlo and Francesca, the owners, always kind, helpful and attentive to the needs of guests. Highly recommended for those looking for a relaxing holiday, without sacrificing comfort!
