Masseria La Chiusa Delle More

The room is extremely welcoming, taken care of down to the smallest detail and equipped with every comfort necessary to relax to the fullest. The real strong point is the view: the property is immersed in a relaxing and regenerating landscape, perfect for disconnecting from the daily routine. An oasis of peace that I highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Masseria La Chiesa delle More, and it was truly the perfect place to experience the Italian dolce vita. From the very beginning, Francesco, the owner, made us feel incredibly welcome. He gave us very precise and clear recommendations about the surrounding area, which made exploring the region so much easier and more enjoyable. The masseria itself is absolutely beautiful: a renovated traditional property with a refined yet authentic Italian taste. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful — you really feel like you are in a little oasis in the countryside, away from everything. The rooms are simple but very well maintained and thoughtfully cared for, and the availability and kindness of the entire staff are truly exceptional. And then there is the breakfast. Everything is homemade, with wonderful local products, and honestly, it was the best breakfast we have had in years — if not the best breakfast we have ever had in our lives. A true 10/10, without any hesitation. The only thing to keep in mind is the location: the masseria is in the countryside, and the roads around it can be quite dark in the evening, especially if you plan to go out for dinner. This is not a negative for us at all, but it is something worth considering when booking. Overall, an exceptional stay and a place we would absolutely recommend.

The owner was very friendly and gave us excellent recommendations for the area, which we appreciated. Also the location was very nice. The room for 3 people was big enough, however the bathroom and especially the shower were extremely small. During a long power outage, we had to wait outside because the room was very hot without air conditioning, and we were surprised that we were charged for drinks while waiting (such thing can happen, but should have been offered some drinks to make this a nice waiting) . Finally, after checkout we had to drive 40 minutes back to return the room key because it hadn’t been collected before we left (we forgot it in the pocket, but place that uses regular keys should make sure to collect at check out). Overall it was good and Francesco was really nice, but such small things matter.
