Hotel Alba

Of this "4-star" hotel, I only save the beachfront location and the kindness of the waiters; for the rest, it failed on all fronts! WiFi mostly non-existent, rooms clean but shower stall defective with an attached lake on the floor after using it, undefined constant noise in the room coming from outside until late at night. Dinner with baby portions; among the first courses, with 3 options to choose from, butter pasta always appears!!! Disappointing breakfast to the max! Mostly sweet with various types of cakes, some yogurt if you arrive early; for savory breakfast, some mini bread croutons with cherry tomatoes and a few slices of cheese or cooked ham or small sandwiches. Coffee only from a machine (if you wanted it at the bar you had to pay for it separately), practically dirty water, just like the decaf. The private beach, very dirty, full of cigarette butts, seaweed, and more... it must be said that one morning we literally ran away because of the stench of sewage that we could smell from the room and that we then found on the beach. A beach that is supposed to be "private" but is a thoroughfare for people coming from the nearby public beaches. The cleaning ladies are very kind, but they should rethink the organization of the cleaning. We left the room at 9:30 AM, we returned at 2:00 PM tired and hot, and the room was not ready yet! We had to wait an hour in the lobby! And this happened for a full 2 days! Disappointing experience for the price paid! I couldn't wait to get back to my house!

Absolutely to be avoided! Terrible experience from beginning to end. Definitely neglected hotel, with restrooms that do not work properly and truly insufficient cleanliness. The breakfast is scarce and of disappointing quality, while the beach, even though the sea is beautiful and the location is good, is dirty and anything but well-maintained. The worst part was the half-board management: we were practically offered only one dish with the option of pasta with butter and, for the rest, we found ourselves having to carefully check the bills because at check-out there were charges we were not expecting. Furthermore, during the day the services are practically non-existent. Overall, a stay far below expectations and absolutely not worth the price paid. Avoid booking if you do not want to ruin your vacation I would absolutely not recommend it.

A terrible facility! The breakfast and dinner were of low quality, the food was scarce, the menu was ridiculous, including buttered pasta, the staff was sad and not at all smiling, and the managers were unpleasant and sleazy! The summary of the vacation? (400 dollars a night for a nightmare vacation) never again! I advise everyone against it! You should be reported.
