I went with my family for dinner 5 times out of the 8 nights I spent at a B&B in the center..the food is very good from the first courses to the main courses and the pizza is good too..I have traveled a lot and I understand the restaurant business...excellent restaurant I recommend it

Wonderful place. Ideal for those who love silence and the feeling of relaxation that nature gives you. Very comfortable veranda where you can spend evenings chatting with the freshness of the country wind, unlike the sultry heat of the village streets. 10 minutes on foot from the sea, for those like me who hate driving in traffic, it is perfect. The gentlemen who manage it are fantastic, of an extraordinary kindness, not to mention the food that the farmhouse offers; I had the opportunity to taste several first courses from the chef that are very much worth it, and then the pizza in the evening, where I can safely say it is the best I have eaten in Salento. Well yes, my vacations. In Salento, I will gladly spend them there always, without any doubt.

We stayed at this property from July 3rd to the 9th and unfortunately, I must join the numerous negative reviews posted on Google and Booking.com. Before booking, I had read them, but I thought some guests were exaggerating. After our experience, I can say that, unfortunately, most of the criticisms correspond to reality. Even the owner's responses to the reviews perfectly reflect her way of behaving. Personally, I believe that many positive reviews can mislead future guests. Already upon our arrival, my partner and I had a very negative feeling. After two days, we asked the owner if it was possible to move up our departure and shorten our stay. Instead of looking for a solution, we were treated very rudely and were told that it was absolutely not possible. One of the biggest disappointments was the location of the property. Both on Booking and on Google it is indicated as "beachfront," but this is to be considered false advertising. The beach is more than a kilometer away on foot, and to reach it, you have to travel along and cross a very busy road. We also had to travel along the same road every morning to go have breakfast, which is served about 100 meters from the room. In the end, we preferred to travel those 100 meters by car, because along that road, which lacked a sidewalk, trucks were passing by at high speed and we did not feel safe at all. The room was also a big disappointment. The windows, both in the room and in the bathroom, could not be opened. In any case, we would not have opened them, because the only view was of the street on the ground floor with the risk that someone could enter. Breakfast was exclusively sweet every day: croissants, cakes, and coffee. Those who prefer a savory breakfast have practically no options. At least to us, no alternative was ever offered. Dinner also disappointed us. The fried calamari were rubbery and, after another dish, we both felt unwell. For this reason, we decided not to return to the restaurant again. Another disappointment was the definition of "agriturismo." From the description, we expected the typical atmosphere of a real farm, immersed in nature, with rural activities. In reality, we saw practically nothing of this: only an excavator and a situation of general disorder. It is almost ironic that the hotel next door, besides not having indicated "beachfront," seemed much more welcoming to us, offered more services, such as bicycles to reach the beach, and was even less expensive. Someone might ask: "Why did you choose this specific property?". The answer is very simple: we trusted the description published on Booking and the photographs, which convey a completely different impression from reality. If the property had been presented in a more realistic and transparent way, we most likely would have chosen another accommodation. I am truly sorry to have to write such a negative review, but I believe that future guests have the right to know about our real experience. I already know what the owner's response will probably be. I think that when I pointed out our discomfort, she should have apologized and let us leave.
