Hotel L'Arcangelo

Very welcoming to international tourists, staff went above and beyond to assist and attend to every request. Nothing was too much trouble. Hotel was safe and comfortable.

I had a wonderful overnight stay at this hotel after disembarking from a cruise. It has been sympathetically and tastefully renovated and decorated and the staff add to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. It is in an easy to find ideal location right next to the entrance to the old city and not hidden down some narrow alley like some other properties with the pretty and historical sights in easy walking distance. I stayed in room 205R which was a large double room with a big private terrace overlooking the town and it was very comfortable with every facility you could possible need. Breakfast was included in stay which was tasty and plentiful. My only comment would be to remove the 3 hot items on offer as the cold buffet spread was more than adequate in terms of choice, quality and taste and this would also relive pressure on staff and create extra serving space in the lovely breakfast room. The train station was a comfortable walk away, but if like me you have luggage, a taxi from the hotel was 14 Euros

Nice welcome, helpful staff. All redone and clean. The room called 'Suite' although it is just a room is impressive of beauty and simplicity. Worth it. Right in the old town near good fish restaurants.
