Tenuta Barco di Emera

We were on vacation as a couple, renting a natural wood cottage; we arrived in the evening and they waited for us at the reception, and once we checked in, they accompanied us to the cottage with luggage service from the parking lot to the room. Very kind to also organize dinner for us with two platters and two glasses of wine, for a fee of course. The estate itself is very beautiful and has a central building typical of a Puglian farmhouse, and then these cottages distributed under the pine forest, which in my opinion could have been oriented better to create more privacy for the occupants; inside they are too spartan and should be extensively modernized, especially the bathroom, which is absolutely not adequate for the price you pay; it is a 2-star boarding house bathroom. The cleanliness also leaves something to be desired; the room is tidied up daily, but in my opinion, the staff is quite distracted in not removing used soap wrappers, limiting themselves only to changing the towels when requested and making the bed. The pool is very beautiful and is managed very well by the lifeguard, and the breakfast is also very varied and the bar staff is very attentive to the needs of the vacationers. The sour note in this property is precisely the cottages, which do not reflect the cost incurred per night in terms of quality, and the staff in charge of room cleaning, who should be checked more on how they carry out the tidying of the rooms. One morning they even left our room open and we noticed it upon returning from the sea; we received an apology from the manager who, in the following days, gifted us a bottle of wine (the least one could expect). Another sour note is the fact that on Sundays the pool is opened to outside guests for a fee, with the inevitable crowding of the pool itself and the parking lot. I would not return unless at a different price or with a total restyling of the cottages.

Enchanting estate, cared for in every detail. We spent two wonderful nights at this estate. A corner of peace in Puglia. Just a few km from the sea. Enchanting, spotless pool, perfect for relaxing, with a bar and restaurant. Breakfast was a real treat: abundant, well-prepared, with homemade desserts and high-quality local products. Dinner in the courtyard restaurant, well-prepared dishes, evocative and romantic atmosphere. The strong point, however, is the staff: professional, discreet, and rarely kind. Attentive to every detail, they make you feel welcome immediately. In particular, Fiorenza, polite and patient, found a solution for our stay. We stayed in one of the chalets surrounded by greenery, spotless, tastefully furnished, very comfortable bed. Price more than fair considering what they offer. Two nights flew by, we would have liked to stay longer. We will return.

Beautiful place, exquisite food Accurate service and professionalism.... Very good Felice.
