Positive notes: Strategic location, public parking near the facility, reachable on foot. Spacious, clean, and soundproof rooms. Negative notes: Reception available only for a few hours a day. Nonexistent from 1 PM to 3 PM and after 11 PM (not acceptable for a 4-star hotel). Access only through the back stairs during reception closing hours. No kettle available in the room. No staff presence in the facility during the night. Dismal breakfast with a very limited variety of products. No gluten-free food. Industrial fruit juices. The hotel should fall into a lower category.

Me and my girlfriend spent a weekend in Matera staying at the Albergo del Sedile and I can say that it is one of the best equipped, elegant and comfortable facilities in the country. We were impressed by the kindness of the staff and the attention to detail, but above all we were impressed by the room we stayed in, number 102! We will definitely come back here because we felt welcomed like home.

I've just completed three nights at this wonderful hotel. It is in the very best location with spectacular views and amazing staff. Especially Fania on reception. I really could stay here for weeks very happily. Walk out of the hotel entrance and you are immediately in the middle of everything you could want.
