The hotel is located in the historic center of Matera, in the famous sassi that characterize the city. Due to the location, it is not possible to reach it with your own car: the hotel staff has a shuttle that continuously picks up and takes visitors to the parking lots that the hotel staff themselves communicate at the time of booking (one public and free, and one guarded and paid): we used the public parking and had a good experience. That said, the welcome was pleasant and in the morning there was an excellent and abundant breakfast, which can be eaten both inside and outside, with a splendid view of the valleys surrounding Matera. A more than good solution for visiting the city.

Incredible place.. The hotel is perfect... The room is super beautiful and the team is very attentive with a shuttle to come and pick you up. In short, an excellent place to tour Matera

We stayed at the hotel with our family of 4. We were picked up by the hotel at a parking outside of the Sassi area. The hotel staff is very nice and friendly. Our suitcases were brought to the room and we were explained about all the main sights. Our room was amazing with a mezzanine and grotto feel. Unfortunately the bathroom was in need of maintenance, but otherwise it was a great stay!
