Palace Hotel

the hotel no longer exists. it was demolished to make way for a new building with apartments in the style of the vertical garden already present in Milan. a bad blow for the city of Matera for the loss of an icon of tourism and local events

We were here for just one night and the Hotel is located about a 10 minute walk from Old Town. Rooms are large and clean. They could do with a refurb but overall it is fine and reasonable pricing. They have car parking which was great for us. Breakfast is basic but still ok. Staff were great and friendly. I would have no problems staying here again and am happy to recommend.

The Palace Hotel is one of the best hotels I ve ever been.The services are very good, food also, and the waiters and other employees behave proper and kindly with tourists. The rooms are very clean due to the guys who worked at cleaning especially Karan ! In my opinion internet services could be improved.
