Mediterraneo Palace Hotel

The hotel is not far from the train station and the lovely beach, which is why we chose it. The location itself, on the main road, is not the most picturesque, but we were aware of this when we made the booking. The breakfast is varied, although quite typical of Italian hotels. We did, however, miss the elusive scrambled eggs. There was a chafing dish with a “scrambled eggs and bacon” sign in front of it, but it was empty every time we went for breakfast. It also would have been nice to have a jug of milk next to the granola and cornflakes. One thing we particularly appreciated was that the rooms were serviced early in the day, which was very convenient. There are a few things that could perhaps be explained to guests upon arrival. For example, we noticed hotel-branded bicycles at the entrance, as well as a golf cart used to chauffeur guests to the beach, but nobody mentioned either of these services when we checked in. That said, we really enjoyed our stay and made equal use of the hotel pool and the nearby beach. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience.

I stayed at the Mediterraneo Palace Hotel on full board for two weeks in the company of my son. From the moment you arrive, you realize how much care there is everywhere, both in the interior spaces and in the exterior ones. The welcome was cordial and professional, and the room - in our case located in the annex adjacent to the main building - was well-furnished, very clean, and equipped with a large bathroom with a window. The entire property, however, is elegant and understated; which makes it extremely refined. The breakfast is very varied and suitable to satisfy all palates. Lunch and dinner (you can choose between three alternatives, but everyone is ready to satisfy requests off-menu with great kindness and availability) satisfied us fully: the dishes are prepared with care and with high-quality raw materials, well presented and in generous portions; from every single detail, the professionalism and love that the chef puts into what he does shine through. All the dining room staff – from the youngest to the most experienced of the members - is professional, courteous, attentive and quick in service and the same qualities are found in all those who - in various capacities - contribute to making the stay magical: the two guys who drive the shuttles, which connect the facility to the beach, the lifeguards, the girls who take care of the guests who are looking for relaxation in the pool, always capable of involving with discretion and grace, but without intrusiveness, the breakfast room staff and the ladies who take care of tidying up the rooms and who keep the latter (but also the common areas) like “jewelry boxes”. An “honorary” mention goes to the Director, an exceptional, gracious, pleasant and empathetic person; to him I renew my wish to enjoy a peaceful and well-deserved retirement and to be able to dedicate all the time he desires to his family. If I really have to find one small, only small “flaw” it is the pool filtration system: especially in the afternoon and in the moments of greatest crowding the water loses a bit of its clarity. A minimal detail, which does not diminish the excellence of the overall experience. Between the quality of the services and the human warmth of the entire staff, even the most demanding guest will not be able to help but leave this hotel with a pinch of nostalgia…

Great hotel, new and well-maintained. The staff was very kind and very helpful, ready to meet your needs and accommodate you, within reasonable limits. Very satisfied
