Villa Ersilia

The property is beautiful. Excellent location. Room with modern decor, large bathroom with super comfortable shower and bidet. - Daily room cleaning, with towel changes and replenishment of personal hygiene accessories. - The cleaning staff is competent and kind. - Hotel staff is friendly and super helpful. - I recommend a car for getting around, even though a scheduled shuttle service with reservation is available.

Have you ever actually seen their 4-star superior rating??? Booked based on misleading photos, we expected an antique villa with atmosphere and charming rooms, but instead we ended up in a sort of anonymous, bare hospital. What is not clear is that the villa only has a few suites, I believe 5, while the rooms are located In another reinforced concrete building, with parking and restaurants totally separate. Rude staff who do not greet guests and are unable to interact with the clientele. The partner beach club had no spots for the next three weeks, so they do not even bother to reserve a certain number of umbrellas for hotel guests. Rough hygiene, dirty bathroom upon arrival, in a week they never changed the bed, low-level motel amenity kit, large room with a garden view that actually looked out onto a dreary and noisy overpass, air conditioning fixed at 24 degrees with no possibility of changing the temperature, broken room phone, and a minibar where to get two small bottles of water a day, you had to make a daily request! Double bed with two single mattresses side by side, tiny TV. There is not even a do not disturb/please make up my room sign to put outside the Door, so the maids enter as they please while you are in the room. Parking lot unfinished and half-flooded. Last but not least, you must have a car; you are far from everything. The only positive note is the food and breakfast, but it is served in a company cafeteria so dreary that it ruins your appetite. Avoid it.
