The hotel is very poorly maintained. It's all old, the air conditioning systems are old, curtains and fabric are generally very old. We were very disappointed. Breakfast is very basic. The only plus point is the central location

Although it is restored and well located near the square, it has shortcomings both structural and service offered by the staff. first, I did not like that the reception moved across the street; second, there is no elevator from the lobby to the pool which then does not reflect the photos seen from the site; and third, the staff who were not competent

As part of a trip through Italy we booked a 2 night stay here but had to make late amendments as our infant daughter became ill and joined us on our trip. All accommodations bar Il Capri helped us either amend or cancel our bookings – many booked under the same terms. Il Capri hid behind their policies advising they would not check us in if we arrived and refused to cancel our booking. They took our money and ran leaving us having to source emergency accommodation with a sick infant. They became threatening when challenged. I would not recommend based on how they treated me and my family and would advise them to learn from their peers.
