Villa al Mare

We've been visiting Ischia for 27 years. For 20 years we have been staying at the hotel "Villa Al Mare". we come twice a year, spring and autumn. Three weeks each. And why? Because we like it. Meanwhile, we get along great with the family. Paola, Elvira and Mama Maria make everything possible that they are asked to do. Whether it's ordering a taxi, registering for a hike, etc. You just have to ask !!! We are completely satisfied with the food. For breakfast there are plenty, mostly outdoors on the terrace. The day starts wonderfully with a view of Maronti Bay. And for dinner, usually a choice between fish and meat dishes, we always get full. Vittorio now cooks and learned great from his aunt. Over the winter there are always renovations. E.G. Installation of air conditioning units. And if there are mosquitoes, you can't blame it on the operators. Mosquito plugs are provided. 2 thermal pools (outdoor and indoor) complete the relaxation. Elvira varies the temperature as desired. The bus stop in front of the hotel entrance allows you to move at any time. If you are not satisfied after a visit, (note value for money) let yourself look for something else. He then does not have the magnificent view and the buses may also be full. What else interests me: Have the people who were not satisfied with something ever approached the family???

A magical place where you feel at home. Breathtaking views of Maronti beach. Well-kept structure in essential family management but equipped with swimming pool with strai and indoor whirlpool. Choice between two first and two second courses of fruit and vegetables served at the table and homemade. Ideal location for those who want to relax away from traffic and social events. Bus stop next to the hotel steps to Maronti beach (800 meters) and Ischia Porto about 15 minutes. Absolutely recommended

I had the pleasure of staying eight days, in the company of a family of friends, at the hotel Villa al Mare and we fell in love with this hotel. Since our arrival, we were greeted with a friendliness that made us feel at home. The atmosphere is familiar and friendly, thanks to a smiling and helpful staff. At Villa al Mare the view is spectacular. From the room and common areas, you can admire the beautiful Maronti beach in all its extension, up to the peninsula of Sant'Angelo. Every sunrise and sunset is a spectacle, as you can see from the photos. The kitchen deserves special praise. Each meal was a culinary journey through the authentic flavors of the island, with carefully prepared dishes and fresh quality ingredients. We appreciated the variety and goodness of the proposals and one evening we could enjoy a delicious pizza cooked in a wood oven, even better than those you eat in a pizzeria! And the delicious “percoche al vino bianco” at the end of the meal, were a real refreshing treat. The location of the hotel, as well as the view, is also great for travel: the bus stop is just below and in front of the hotel and this makes travel easy and convenient, allowing you to explore the island without the stress of moving your car and find parking. Finally, another highlight is the pool with thermal water coming directly from the well to enjoy the benefits of balneotherapy, while the view opens onto the blue sea. I recommend Villa al Mare to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday in Ischia, good food and a warm welcome. I can't wait to go back!
