Oleandri Resort

An excellence in the Paestum area!!! A property with an attention to detail that I have truly rarely found... excellent quality food and courteous, very polite, and always available staff.

My family and I stayed at the Oleandri between July and August and it is always a pleasure to return to this property. As always, we found a welcoming and familiar environment. Rino and the entire entertainment staff manage to make guests feel at ease, proposing fun and engaging activities. In general, all the staff proved to be kind, helpful, and always attentive to the guests' needs. This year, however, we unfortunately noticed a drop in the quality and especially in the quantity of the food served at the restaurant during dinner, having chosen the half-board package. The portions seemed really too small to us and, furthermore, for about two years now the buffet is no longer present, which in our opinion penalizes the dinner experience a bit. The breakfast, however, remains excellent and continues to be one of the best we know: very varied, abundant, and of excellent quality. Overall, we always return to the Oleandri gladly and we hope that in the future the restaurant service can be improved, so as to bring it back to the levels we remembered and that had made us appreciate this property even more. I also hope that the entertainment team is offered the possibility to organize even more activities dedicated to adults, so as to further enrich the guests' experience.

We have been frequenting the Oleandri Resort for four years; among the reasons that drive us to be so regular is certainly the entertainment. Rino Esposito, a head entertainer with great experience and talent, leads a group of younger guys who are all polite, friendly, and very willing. Summer after summer, we have had fun with them with both the daytime activities and the evening shows, all in a pleasant atmosphere of relaxation and friendliness. The only thing we regret is that, year after year, the Resort's approach is increasingly aimed only at families with small children, completely ignoring the possibility of entertaining teenagers and adults with the activities as well, as it used to be. And it is a shame, because Rino and the guys from Big Art animation are a great resource that could be better utilized. For the rest, the resort is very clean, well-kept, and truly elegant, with spacious and very comfortable rooms (except for the more cramped basic ones), a large pool but very crowded with small children; furthermore, by crossing the main road on level ground and a path through the pine forest, you can easily reach the hotel's fully equipped sandy beach. Catering is very good and varied regarding breakfast but more disappointing at meals, especially this last year. The raw materials are of quality and the waiters are also all courteous, but I imagine there has been some turnover in the kitchen because the food is no longer as good as it used to be. Furthermore, for a four-star hotel, the lack of a vegetable and/or appetizer buffet to support the meal plan is noticeable.
