La Pergola

There are properties that you choose for their location and services, and then there are others that, once you arrive, manage to give you much more. Hotel La Pergola was exactly that for us. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had made the right choice. The location is exceptional, very convenient for the beach and perfect for enjoying pleasant evening strolls in the center of Santa Maria di Castellabate. The room was a real surprise: spectacular, spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed in every detail. A special mention for the shower, simply fantastic, and for the cleanliness, truly impeccable. Moreover, it gave me a view of wonderful sunsets over the sea. The breakfast was excellent, varied and pleasant, both sweet and savory, quality lunches and the beach was very convenient just a few meters away. The The à la carte restaurant then, (ristorante del corso) a beautiful confirmation:: delicious dishes, quality of raw materials and great care in the preparation. But what really made the difference was the attention of the people. Traveling with my father I had some particular needs and, from the contacts prior to our arrival, I found availability, sensitivity and attention. Everything that had been proposed and agreed upon was respected, allowing us to experience the vacation with great serenity. A sincere thank you to all the staff, always kind, smiling and helpful, capable of making you feel welcomed without ever being intrusive. We left with many expectations and we returned home with the feeling that La Pergola was truly the perfect choice for us. Ten beautiful days, from every point of view. Walking along the main street, we were attracted by the tranquility of the place; upon entering, the super kind and prepared staff immediately put us at ease by showing us to our seats... but the best was yet to come; we chose 2 appetizers, 1 first course, and two second courses... preparation and research of the raw materials, to say the least, excellent... last but not least, the owner, after chatting with us, gifted us another dish to get our opinion on it... conclusion... excellent value for money... highly recommended place... we will definitely return...

Terrible restaurant. Breakfast alone is sufficient. I recommend the B&B option. Beach service is good. Good welcome.
