Hotel Saline

Our room overlooked an abandoned construction site while another was in a basement without light. We are at our fifth hotel on this vacation and €300 for one night here is truly out of place (they later discounted one to 270 🤣… to sleep in a basement). Breakfast with eggs for an extra charge and full of pastries with very little fruit The pool is unwatchable, dirty, small, and still has skimmers (in a 4-star hotel, that really shouldn't be the case) They made us pay for beach towels Room decor passable but the bathroom is uniquely sad and still has a bathtub (at least ours did) The beach is small (at least it's well-kept), the sea is full of rocks at the shore where swimming becomes truly difficult and dangerous We stayed for lunch and even in this case a very sad Caesar salad with exactly 4 shrimp and a little mozzarella ball like a ping pong ball (and we are in the land of mozzarella…) Truly a disappointment The only exception is the staff, helpful and professional

Property partly dated and in need of some renovation, 3-star rooms while the hotel is a 4-star, good breakfast and quality pastries, disappointing dining; we were on half-board and therefore had dinner, we went hungry in the sense that even the simplest foods are cooked poorly, the fish pasta dishes taste like water, the baked fish seems boiled, the french fries are dark (old oil)…. the pizza is acceptable… appetizers with only one cold cut and one cheese per evening…. we are still guests at the property… we complained but they evidently don't know how to do more, courteous staff! Furthermore, the seabed is entirely rocky and from the property's photos it seems to be sandy, not really suitable for children 😥too bad Quality/price ratio not fair, I expected much more

We had chosen this hotel for the cuisine, which included the supervision of Michelin-starred chef Peppe Guida, and for the private beach access. First of all, the room
