Excellent value for money! Rooms furnished with very good taste and an abundant breakfast of excellent quality!

Very comfortable hotel located a stone's throw from the sea and in the heart of Palinuro; the extremely friendly, professional, and welcoming staff allowed us to check out two hours after the permitted time. Next to the hotel is an excellent restaurant with a splendid terrace overlooking the gulf, from which we were able to marvel at the stunning sunsets of Palinuro. This experience alone is worth the stay....

Our experience at this hotel was unfortunately very far from the standards of a 4-star property. The room was extremely small and lacked soundproofing: noises, voices, and movements from adjacent rooms were clearly audible. The mattress was hard and uncomfortable, making it difficult to rest. Upon our arrival, we did not even find a complimentary bottle of water, and all drinks were for a fee: a minimal courtesy that is now present even in many B&Bs. Breakfast was another critical point. The cooked ham displayed in the case gave off an unpleasant odor, so much so that no one ate it. We found moldy Philadelphia cream cheese, and the coffee was undrinkable. A level definitely not adequate for a four-star hotel. The only positive aspect of the breakfast room, as well as the room, was the sea view, which was truly pleasant. Also worth noting is the kindness of the staff working in the dining room: helpful and professional. The welcome, however, was cold and unprofessional. At check-in, we were offered the internal restaurant with prices of €25–30 per course, and when we asked if there were alternatives nearby, it was implied that there was practically nothing, when in fact the area offers several establishments. When we requested to cancel the last night for work reasons, an inappropriate and tasteless joke was made, questioning the truthfulness of our needs. We would like to clarify that in other establishments we have already had to cancel one or two nights due to work requirements and no one has ever made inappropriate comments to us: this makes the episode even more evident and not in line with the hospitality one expects from a hotel of this category. The reservation was canceled without additional costs, which we appreciated, but the disrespectful attitude remains, which is not up to the standard of a facility that presents itself as 4 stars. In conclusion, we were almost relieved to have to return early. The sea view is the only element that partially saves the stay, but everything else.. from the room to the breakfast, up to the welcome, does not reflect the declared category at all.
