Amalfi Holiday Resort

this was a last minute booking after being scammed by an AirB &B. The location of the hotel was great next to lots of shops, supermarkets and easy to get transport. Quite a few steps i can imagine someone with difficulty walking would struggle We didn't have any issues until the 2nd night in our clothes in the wardrobe started to smell damp and was damp. then unfortunately the aircon unit was leaking and flooding the room. which created a massive slip hazard and also we had to take our clothes to a dry cleaners. We informed the hotel they told us to turn the aircon off , however being in 33 degree heat all day and not being able to get out of the heat even when going to your room, is not right. This could make us extremely ill. 2nd issue we had an ant infestation which were in the bed and also was biting us. we were waking up with a ridiculous amount of times during the night. We also made the staff aware they were not really bothered. I wrote a formal complaint and emailed to manager, where i was ignored. so i had to go to reception and complain. where they changed our room for 1 night. i wanted some sort of refund , which i spoke to the reception about and they told me someone would be in touch and no one ever was !!!!!!! they just kept telling me to wait. i said i didn't want to and wanted to speak to someone more higher up as i knew as soon as i left italy and returned to the UK. They wouldn't answer there messages. They no longer answered me when i returned and booking.com couldn't get through to them either. me and booking.com were both being ignored. so booking.com had to give a refund of 90 euros as an apology. The case has now been closed and never heard from them after over a month. it is a great hotel location and beautiful rooms . however staff and management are not great. be careful

We were supposed to go there on the night of July 13th for my birthday. While my partner and I were in the car, I started vomiting. We contacted the property to let them know I wasn't feeling very well, and they told us that if we didn't arrive by 6:30 PM, we wouldn't be able to enter anymore. Given the limitation, I suggested moving the dates, even by paying a supplement or even changing the period (from high season to low season). I would never have asked for my money back. They never replied to us. They never deigned to pay the slightest attention. I work with customers every day of my life. I also have several B&Bs and I have never, and I mean never, behaved like this with customers. Unfortunately, professionalism and politeness in 2026 are truly unknown. That said, I hope that with my 300 euros you have gotten rich. If I had read all the reviews left here beforehand, I would never have booked. Bread to those who have no teeth, as the saying goes! Have a good life, dears.

Be Carefull! They cancell reservation in the Day of arivall without any information before. Manager are impolite person. We have very unijne suprised on the place!! I Do not recomend this place.
