Albergo Terme La Reginella

As a first experience in Ischia, we chose to spend a few days of vacation at the Hotel La Reginella in Lacco Ameno. The property is beautiful, welcoming, and full of charm due to the elegance with which it is maintained, in addition to being perfectly air-conditioned. The hotel's flooring is unique, characterized by typical Ischian ceramics. The hallway leading to the rooms in the main building is evocative, with blue flooring that recalls that of the sea. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and equipped with all the necessary comforts even for a long stay (ours was 11 nights). The bathroom is large with an excellent-sized shower. A note of merit goes to the cleaning service for both the rooms and the common areas. The entire property smells fresh and clean. Every corner of the spacious halls leading to the internal restaurant is furnished with exquisite taste, and I liked it very much. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the hotel's internal courtyard or in the adjacent air-conditioned indoor dining room. For lovers of sweet and savory, there is an embarrassment of riches. Dinner is served in the aforementioned air-conditioned room and is characterized by a great variety of choices (part buffet and part à la carte). The dining room staff was always attentive, punctual, and definitely up to the task. The maître d' Raffaele is truly exceptional, a humble person but of great professionalism, and together with his colleagues and collaborators, he contributed to making our vacation unforgettable. Those who wish can have lunch in the restaurant located in the thermal park or at the adjacent snack bar. A special thanks goes to Grazia, who was very kind and welcoming to us and all the other guests. The pizza that you can enjoy for lunch is fantastic: delicious!!! The thermal park is wonderful, 7 pools (2 indoor and 5 outdoor) kept in excellent condition with different water temperatures, 8 cervical waterfalls and 10 hydromassages. We relaxed infinitely. Beach and pool towels are always available and changed daily without a deposit or anything similar. Evening room tidying. A special thanks goes to the manager, Mrs. Anna, who knew how to advise us in the best way and who manages this property admirably, putting the guest and not the customer first. In the evening, it was pleasant to sit outside to have a drink and listen to a good piano bar. Ischia is splendid, Lacco Ameno is a little gem, and the Albergo La Reginella is a wonderful place. Will we go back? Without a shadow of a doubt

Half way through our stay and it is a Lovely hotel. Great staff. Food is fabulous. We are breakfast and evening meal and Raffael and team are looking after us splendidly. Toom is bijou and air con ok. The cleaning team are cleaning the rooms to a high standard. Fresh bedding and warm pool towels delivered every evening. Everyone is very polite. Location is great, right in main square and only steps to bars. Shops, Restaurants etc. The only criticisms are the service in pool snack bar is quite inconsistent and cleanliness around the pool. There are tissues by large jacuzzi pool which have been there since we arrived 4 days ago. The tables by sun loungers are not cleaned and I have resorted to cleaning ours every day with water. The areas could do with being hosed down Im sure these are just picky things and hope the rest of the holiday maintains and exceeds our expectations

Everything is nice. But you must wake up early to be able to have a sunbed by the pools. Reservation IS allowed, just put a towel on the bed. Other guests are not allowed to use your sunbed even though you are not using it for hours. I find that very disappointing. I HAVE NEVER STAYED ON A HOTEL WHICH ALLOWS RESERVATIONS OF SUNBEDS.
